I am an artist based out of Jackson, MI and have been creating works for the last 30 years. I am fueled by a love for capturing the beauty around us through the styles of abstract, impressionism, watercolor, pastel, and realism.
About Me
I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota and it was there my passion for creating beautiful pictures was nurtured by nationally-renowned sculptor and artist, Catherine Mulligan. I met Catherine through the Creative Arts Program, a grant-funded program for high school students in the Fargo Public School System. I was fortunate to be accepted into this program at an early age, enjoying 4 years of artistic mentoring from Catherine and other artists-in-residence.
I don't like to get locked into one thing. I am curious by nature and I like to explore different mediums, different subjects, and styles. People are fascinating to me. Nature is fascinating to me. I try to bring light and color into my pieces through the use of different techniques.
